Our sports tutors will show you gorgious areas in the immediate surroundings. Every Tuesday you are invited to an extended hiking trip up to the most beautiful peaks. You will not only enjoy the breathtaking view and landscapes but also make new friends easily.

The Allgäu is a perfect hiking destination all year round. You walk through blooming mountain meadows, enjoy our guided hikes, Nordic Walking or mountain tours in summer and in winter you can ejnoy countless miles in the calm, snow-covered nature, which we would like to show you during our cross-country skiing or snow shoe tours and winter hikes. The numerous huts along the route provide refreshment or a hearty snack in summer and conviviality and mulled wine at an open fireplace in winter.

It's the combination of low mountain landscape and alpine terrain, that makes the region around Oberstaufen so popular among hikers and awarded Oberstaufen as Germany's most popular excursion site in 2007/08. In 2008/09 the distinction as third most popular hiking tour was the next highlight - the nature park "Nagelfluh ridge hike" even was on 1st place in the Bavarian ranking. The German-Austrian nature park, which was founded in 2008, includes 24.000 hectare nature reserve.

Highly recommendable are also the three premium trails "Wild Waters" (11 km circular hiking path through the last primeval forests in Germany from Hündlekopf to Weissach gorge and the Buchenegger waterfalls), "Alpine Freedom" (13,6 km mountain path from Imberg mountain through the Hörmoos upland moor and the sycamore-garden) as well as "Luftiger Grad" (10,2 km route through the nature park Nagelfluh up to 1.700 m height, most extensively certified premium trail in Germany). Oberstaufen is the perfect destination for hikers also in wintertime: The "Kapfwald" route (6 km moderate hiking trail through the winter forest, approx. 250 m height difference) was the first premium winter hiking trail in the Allgäu and was inaugurated in Oberstaufen by the end of 2013.
