Arrival
From a traffic point of view the Allgäu Sonne is most conveniently located in the three-country corner of Germany, Austria and Switzerland and can be quickly and easily reached by car, train and plane:
By car
Take the A7 (to Ulm-Füssen) as far as the Allgäu motorway junction, take the A980 motorway towards Lindau until the Waltenhofen exit, then take the B19 as far as Immenstadt and continue along the B308 to Oberstaufen.
To bypass the city center of Oberstaufen, it is better to drive past the entrance to Oberstaufen and stay on the B308 (Alpenstrasse) towards Lindau. After approximately 1 km, you turn right to Stiessberg. From there, only some hundred meters are left until you reach hotel Allgäu Sonne.
By train
Oberstaufen is directly on the Munich/Ulm–Kempten–Lindau line and has its own station.
We would be pleased to pick you up at the station. Please inform our reservations clerk if you are arriving by train.
By plane
The Hotel Allgäu Sonne can be comfortably reached from Stuttgart, Munich, Friedrichshafen, Augsburg, Memmingen and Zürich airports by taxi, train or car.
We would be pleased to organise an appropriate and affordable transfer for you.
